    Wild Writing

Taking time to stop and become aware of the natural wonders - both seen and heard. Using the ideas from the tiny, often unseen, natural world. Awareness of both sight and sound re-connects us with nature. It opens our eyes to what is so often missed. The natural world is under huge threat from habitat loss, global warming and pollution. Re-engaging with nature we can understand it more and realise what it is we stand to lose.

    The Space Project

On Monday morning nothing existed of the space project. Over the five days, through an intensive writing, devising and rehearsal process, year five created an awe inspiring visual spectacle to be performed to the parents on Friday evening. The space journey visited talking probes, a chorus that asked what was so beautiful about earth, weird dancing creatures from outer space and many other peculiar objects and experiences. The amount the children produced - all from their own ideas - and the professional attitude they maintained throughout the week - was astounding.
